~*Survey Results*~

From these results I'll construct my magazine cover, contents page and double page spread.

~*Survey Questions*~

These are questions form my survey that I feel are relevant to help me create a successful music magazine. My final question includes magazine covers of Nicki Minaj because not only is she very relevant and successful in the hip-hop industry, but she has also appeared on the front cover of many music magazines so I am using her covers to help inspire me to create my music magazine successfully because I am also putting a female rapper on my front cover.

~*Audience Focus Group*~

This is my audience focus group. We looked at four different magazine covers but with the same artist on each cover. This is to see whether the way an artist is portrayed on a cover, affects whether the reader would like to purchase the magazine. They said that they liked the bright colours used because it drew them in as a reader so I will take this into consideration when I'm putting together my front cover. They liked to simple layout of the Rolling Stone cover so I'll have to take this into consideration too when sorting out the layout and positioning of text on my front cover. They liked the use of multiple fonts so I'll incorporate this into my work as well as using more than one colour which they thought would over power my work. I shall also make the cover artist's name very big to draw in reader as the participants said they found that this feature on a magazine drew them in.
